Not Your Average White Boy...

I'm in love with this stuff. Whether or not you relate to his All-American suburbanite persona, it still hard to ignore Asher Roth. After signing with SRC Records (home to rappers Akon & David Banner), the white boy from Morrisville, PA made a big splash with his Don Cannon and DJ Drama assisted mixtape The Greenhouse Effect. His voice and punchline-heavy flow has some similarity to that of a certain "Clownish" Detroit rapper from 8 Mile but definitely with more style; Roth has managed to establish a unique personality with his recent remakes of Lil Wayne's “A Milli” and Jay-Z’s “Roc Boys.”
