Things don’t get much better than a sweet water view, except perhaps for a sweet Mariah Carey Christmas song, which Merry Christmas II You was released today, but damn, can he high-step on that thing. Giving you a similarly baller look at the Wynn’s impressive waters, Lakeside Grill.
Decked with a 17th century mosaic-tiled floor, Carrara marble, neo-classical sculptures, and modern touches like orange banquettes, Lakeside overlooks the Wynn’s ginormous Lake of Dreams, which combines a crazy hologram/4,000-light show, a mountain waterfall, “cyclorama” backdrop on which images’re projected, and music ranging from “Low Rider” to "What a Wonderful World", which is the first time anyone other than Kim Kardashian has ever sung that in Vegas. The menu's concocted by the exec chef of SW Steakhouse (the Wynn's signature eatery), and starts out with shared plates like garlic bread meatballs, strip steak sandwiches w/ caramelized onions & truffled Robiola cheese, and a broad selection of shellfish, from jumbo stone crab claws to roasted head-on prawns, which is just how Gilbert Gottfried does it...dude comes right at you!
To keep you goin’, they’ve got a full roster of crazy import brews, scotches (including the $950/glass Hardy Perfection) and specialty cocktails like the gin/Canton/fresh lime/lemongrass/Fever Tree Ginger Ale “Rang Rickey”. Check out the Lakeside Grill right in the middle of the desert!
